Equipment designers are challenged to find electrical-to-optical conversions in a small interface with long transmission reaches at a cost competitive price.Molex QuatroScale™ Mid-Board Optical Modules (MBOMs) fill this technology gap and will transmit up to 4km for roughly the same price and power as competitive VCSEL-based MBOMs or mid-board optics (MBO) that transmit across distances below 100m.
