Electrical lengths can vary between cables that have the same physical lengths.Testing and pre-cutting may be necessary to mitigate these differences, which are time consuming and add to labor costs.Temp-Flex® coaxial cables’ tight tolerances ensure electrical lengths are matched.As a result, test and measurement OEMs and logic and protocol analysis OEMs can eliminate pre-cutting and testing for electrical-length matching.Furthermore, coaxial cables can be complicated to terminate, and certain applications may require more flexible formats.Customization offers a range of format options — discrete, ribbon, intermittent ribbon and bundled — and shield-design options, including braid, double braid, served, foil, drain and outer diameter (OD) sizes, etc., that customers can select based on their need to simplify termination and meet routing requirements.
